Additional Benefits

We are coming back to Indianapolis, Indiana on July 6-9, 2010, as one of the premier events in the country. As you know we had planned to move to Cincinnati, Ohio but the new facilities will not be ready until mid-July. Therefore we have moved the Cincy Shootout to July 29-31, 2010 in Cincinnati, Ohio. We hope your teams will be able to attend both great events.

For the return of the Hoosier Shootout we have secured what we believe are some the best facilities in the Indy area. Everything will be located on the south side of Indy, our dual tournament headquarters will be the fabulous Indy Indoor Sports Park, 4 full sized wooden courts- this is the original headquarters of the Hoosier Shootout and The Gathering Place - with 3 full sized woooden courts, this is a special place to play basketbll that we know will be a favorite for teams and coaches alike.

We will announce our other facilities shortly but we can tell you one thing - there is no event in the area that can match the proximity and quality of these venues!

We realize there are other events at the same time in Indianapolis. This should make the City of Indianapolis the absolute MUST STOP in July 2010 for College Coaches.

Finally, we are not trying to be the biggest event in Indy but the best; therefore we are only accepting a limited number of teams. But you all know for sure that College Coaches know the HOOSIER SHOOTOUT and look forward to it every year.

We have partnered with many scouting services to ensure your team receives maximum coverage. These include:
rivals.com
scout.com
Indiana Basketball News
Hoosier Hoops Report
Bob Gibbon's All-Star Sports
and many more.

Team Pages

We will have a special benefit for all 2010 Hoosier Shootout paid entrants: you can post bios of players, articles about your team, and even videos to draw interest from college coaches and scouts!

Referees

Eric Harmon, former supervisor of men's basketball officials for the Mid-American Conference, will be our Director of Officials. Mr. Harmon has officiated NCAA Division I men’s basketball for 32 years and has supervised basketball referees in the Mid-Continent Conference since 1990 as well as the Indiana Collegiate Athletic Conference since 1989.

Motels

We have tried to secure the best rates for teams and families in the immediate vicinity. We are not using an outside booking source, all participants are free to use the motels we list or secure your own best deals!
